NOW HIRING: Production Technician

Description: Anderson Industrial Engines Co., Inc. is looking for a hard-working and detail-oriented production technician that is familiar with industrial engines and generators. The Production Technician is responsible for assembly of engines and accessories (e.g. radiators, air cleaners, and wiring harnesses) on a variety of engine sizes. This includes completion of quality checks, end of line engine run-up or load bank testing and, when necessary, rework of defective products.

Production Technician responsibilities include: Use of electronic diagnostic tools.
Use of a computerized system for tracking labor and parts used for assembly jobs.
Identify parts needed to complete orders.
Maintain work area in a clean and safe condition.
Use of basic hand tools and electric or pneumatic power tools to complete tasks.

Ability to lift 50lbs and work on your feet for periods of up to 4 hours.
Have basic tools, and willing to purchase tools needed to complete work.
Have basic mechanical knowledge.
Willing to learn.

Preferred Skills and Abilities: Basic mechanical knowledge
Familiar with engines or equipment

Work Hours: Monday-Thursday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. with occasional overtime.

Benefits: Full benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance with paid time off, paid holidays and 401(k) plan. Commissions are available after 90 days.

Congratulations to the 2018 Honda Engines Hands-On Master Tech Graduates

Anderson Industrial Engines Co. Inc. would like to send out a big thank you to the participants of the 2018 Master Tech Hands-On certification test, and recipients of brand new Snap-On toolboxes.



Honda Master Tech certification is the highest level of service certification a technician can achieve. Honda customers across the country get notified when a Master Technician is available in there area, so AIE wants to encourage all Honda dealers to have a Master Tech certified member on staff.



The hands-on certification is an assessment-based exam over two days that covers diagnostics, engine overhaul, ignition, electrical, carburetors, and the DDiN. AIE provides annual testing across Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, and Wyoming at absolutely no cost to technicians and dealers.

Anderson Industrial Engines Co., Inc. Finalizes Expansion Into Kansas and Missouri

Anderson Industrial Engines Co., Inc. has successfully negotiated an agreement to purchase Kansas City Power Products Co., Inc. of Kansas City, KS. The agreement became final on April 30, 2015. AIE has been in the industrial engine distribution business in Nebraska and Iowa for more than forty years representing Ford Motor Co., Kubota Engine America, American Honda Motor Company and FPT Powertrain Technologies, among many related supporting lines of products. This agreement will double AIE’s distribution territory, adding Kansas and Missouri.

In a letter sent out to the customers and staff of Kansas City Power Products, Anderson Industrial Engines CEO Douglas Turner stated, “Jim and Cathy Brazeal (owners of Kansas City Power Products) have built a respectable business serving the needs of the industrial engine market for over thirty years and we plan to carry on that proud tradition, but beginning May 1, as a branch of Anderson Industrial Engines.” AIE will retain the facility and all staff at the Kansas City, KS location.

Acquiring Honda Engines Territory in Colorado and Wyoming

Anderson Industrial Engines Co., Inc. is proud to announce that it has acquired Honda Engines Distribution Territory in Colorado and Wyoming!

As of September 6, 2017, the contract with American Honda was solidified.

Doug Everett was hired in September 2017, and will be Anderson’s head salesperson in that region.
